A Fantasia Filmes nasceu em 2020 com foco principal em produções cinematográficas. A empresa que antes produzia peças teatrais iniciou sua trajetória no audiovisual com o teatro filme “Alethea Dreams”. Esse projeto foi um divisor de águas para a Fantasia pois migrou dos palcos para as telas em um modelo híbrido que misturava teatro e cinema.  No mesmo ano de 2020, a Fantasia produziu remotamente o curta “Linha de um Tempo Qualquer”, ganhando os prêmios de Melhor Roteiro e Melhor Atriz no Festival de Cenas Curtas, no Brasil. Em 2022, o curta “Choro” venceu na categoria Melhor Filme Sobre Mulheres, no World Film Carnival, em Singapura. Em 2023, “A Janela de Íris” ganhou o prêmio de melhor atriz, no Hong Kong Indie Film Festival, Melhor Diretora no Rotterdam Independent Film Festival e como Melhor Filme Sobre Empoderamento Feminino, no Sydney Indie Short Festival. Paralelamente, a Fantasia Filmes também desenvolve filmes publicitários.

Fantasia Films transitioned to filmmaking in 2020, shifting from its primary focus as a theatrical production company. The company’s initial cinematic project, “Alethea Dreams,” originally emerged from the theater stage and evolved into a four-episode hybrid series. In the same year, Fantasia produced the short film “A Thread of Any Time” remotely during the pandemic, earning recognition with awards for Best Script and Best Actress at the Short Scenes Festival in Brazil. In 2022, the company released another short film, “Cry,” which garnered acclaim as the best film about women at the World Film Carnival in Singapore. In 2023, “Iris’ Window” made its debut at the LA Independent Women Film Awards, the film won Best Female Director at the Rotterdam Independent Film Festival and Berlin Shorts Award and Best Film on Female Empowerment category at the Sydney Indie Short Festival. Alongside its cinematic ventures, Fantasia Films also explores advertising across various styles suitable for both television and the internet.
